Audio in, chords out

This workflow is a converter: you supply the recording, Chord Identifier returns labeled chords synced to playback.

It does not print official publisher charts. It estimates harmony from the signal so you can learn or jam faster.

When conversion struggles

Low bitrate, clipping, or many instruments at once reduce confidence. A dry DI guitar track converts more cleanly than a festival bootleg.

If a section looks wrong, loop it on the waveform and compare with the recording — then correct the voicing on your instrument.

FAQ — Audio to chords

Is the free conversion the whole file?

No. Free recognition covers about 30 seconds. Premium converts the full song (within plan limits).

MP3 and WAV only?

Yes for upload. YouTube and microphone are separate inputs that still produce a chord timeline.
